What
I'm mostly proud of about this experience is the opportunity to work on
automating processes that used to take me a significant amount of time
back when I started as a sys admin, such as creating image templates. I
had the privilege to collaborate with a senior colleague who taught me
not to let any barrier stop me when it comes to IT automation. Moreover,
I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to undertake this project for a
company like Aruba.

I've started working on this project on a 3 people team and gained
much experience on the system/network administration field. The way we
worked together got us the basis to build a bigger team that now covers
different competence in the IT System Administration.

Subsequently, I orchestrated the setup of an environment powered by the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service. This environment was tailored to deliver Windows Server desktop virtual desktops, optimized specifically for Samsung DeX devices.
Samsung DeX is a docking station designed for Galaxy smartphones, transforming them into desktop workstations. By integrating the Citrix app and Cisco Jabber, we seamlessly delivered fully functional work environments directly to users' smartphones.
Establishing Network Monitoring Services for Credit Agricole:
Our approach involved automating device registration using Python scripting. By developing a script capable of dynamically collecting device IPs and automatically registering them within the Zabbix platform, we streamlined the onboarding process significantly.
Furthermore, we meticulously fine-tuned the configuration of items and triggers to ensure the delivery of a fully functional dashboard. This dashboard provided real-time insights and alerts, empowering Credit Agricole to maintain optimal network performance and security across their operations.
Implementing Microsoft MDT Infrastructure for Hospital University of Trieste:
By harnessing PXE boot functionality, the deployment process was streamlined, allowing for the seamless installation of prepared images onto workstations. This not only enhanced operational efficiency but also ensured consistency and reliability across the hospital's workstation environment.
Establishing and Maintaining a Comprehensive Lab Environment:
This environment served as a dynamic workspace for exploring new technologies, testing software configurations, and conducting research initiatives. By leveraging virtualization capabilities, we optimized resource utilization and flexibility, enabling seamless experimentation and innovation within the lab.
